I can't actually remember how we went about moving Miss M from her swaddle to a sleeping bag, but I'm sure it was around this age. The recommendation is that when they can roll, it's time! And we are definitely there with Little Man. He's been rolling for a while, so we gave him a try in a sleeping bag - but he just flapped his arms about - no way was he going to sleep!
As he got stronger and started rolling in his swaddle in the cot - we needed to persist and make the change. Poor little man can't roll back so once he's on his tummy he's stuck!
We gave it a week and tried again in his new cosy Plum sleeping bag (kindly gifted for the purpose of this review). Whoever invented these sleeping bags for babies and toddlers is a genius! There's no escaping their cosy warmth - no blankets to kick off. So snuggly for babies. Pictured here is the 6-18 month size, which looks huge, but it means there's plenty of room to grow, and little press studs in the arm holes make it fit littler bubbas.
Thanks to the team at Plum! I'm sure this sleeping bag will get heaps of use!
In other news, we're finally getting better sleep in this house! Only up once at 3:30 last night!! That's more like it little man. I actually feel human today. Let's see if it lasts.
