Mother + Teacher + Blogger + Adelaidian = Me

Why hello there! Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the blogosphere. I launched Teacher Types on Jan 1st 2014, and absolutely love being a blogger! It's become so much more than a hobby over the years and it combines all my interests. I find it keeps me busy doing something productive with my free time {well the little free time I get now that I'm a mother of two!}

So, I'm Lauren, the teacher and mother tippy-tapping and typing away on my lap top. Teacher Types is a place where parents and teachers of young children can be inspired by a multitude of activity ideas, resources and parenting stories. I take all of my own photos and from time to time, I feature local businesses, products and locations around Adelaide that I love. In the past I've been a guest advisor for Adelaide Mummy Meetings and am a regular contributor at Childhood 101 and Adelady as well as Parent Talk Australia and Kid Magazine. 

I love, respect and admire the beauty and art of professional photography and have been lucky enough to have had some special moments in my life captured.

I don't post many photos of our children on the blog, but thought that a few on my about page would be nice. And no - she doesn't get her blue eyes from either of us! Must have been from elsewhere in the family gene pool :)
